Traditional Speech Language Evaluation

WHO IS THIS FOR?

  • Ages 3 to 21

  • Language Understanding: Difficulties following commands, expressing needs, or understanding language.

  • Speech Production: Difficulties pronouncing sounds, making errors, or using a limited variety of sounds.

  • Sentence Formation: Difficulties combining words into sentences, using jargon, or stopping use of previously mastered words.

  • Cognitive Struggles: Decreased memory or problem-solving skills, or difficulty with attention.

Evaluation Details

  • Test Includes:

    • Any speech or language-based diagnoses discovered, such as speech disorders related to articulation production, childhood apraxia of speech, phonological speech disorders, and any expressive or receptive-related disorders.

    • Treatment recommendations if indicated.

  • Testing Duration: 1-1.5 hours of testing

  • Testing Format: Can be virtual or on-site.

  • Consultation: A virtual or on-site 30-minute consultation once the report is completed to review results and recommendations.
