Our Clients are why we do what we do...

From the school of a TPE student:

"The report you received from True Potential was amazing. The information will be so helpful as we continue to help [student] with reading.  He now has a 504 plan in place which will help with classroom lessons and expectations."

From the mother of a TPE student:

"I met with the school this afternoon and it looks like we will be going ahead with a 504. They are very open to accommodate him and in the last week he has started getting B's and C's on his homework!  He is so proud of himself and of course we are very proud too. THANK YOU TO YOU ALL!"

From the classroom teacher of a TPE student to his mother:

"I have noticed some growth in [student]'s ability to recall some more of the sight words than he had been able to read in the past. He is decoding them, but doing so a little faster so they seem more like a word he can quickly recognize.

I did administer the end of the year benchmarking and sight word tests.  He has grown in text reading from a level C in October to a level F now (May). His sight words are still below the level we are wanting to see, but as I said, it seems like some of the kindergarten and beginning of the year 1st grade words, that he would see often in the books he reads, are getting more solid.

He seems so much more confident and is eager to explain to me how he can figure some things out now.  All you are doing now will make a huge impact on [student]'s academic growth. Thank you for all you have done to help me and the other teachers know more about [student]'s learning style and needs!"

From the mother of a TPE student:

"Please extend our extreme appreciation to your whole team for what they've done for [student]. He really enjoys tutoring and we are seeing great progress.  He just passed level 2 on Friday which is very exciting.  And the day before he hit a milestone at school for hitting 94 words per minutes (the spring goal was 92 and this was his first time hitting it)."

From the mother of a TPE student:

"I can't believe how far she has come. The extra work this past summer and Saturday lessons during the school year have made a big difference. When she talks to me, sometimes she will say a word and then spell it. The good part is she usually spells the word correctly. It is like living with a walking dictionary, sort of funny. She loves to read anything she sees. It's like another world is opening up. Fun to see her reaction."

From an OG Tutor regarding a TPE diagnostic report:

"This is the best report I have ever received. It is easy to understand and of benefit to parents and teachers. The tests used are excellent. I will certainly recommend True Potential Education to parents who desire testing. I've also told my daughters about True Potential Education as they are all teachers and can pass this information on to their parents and to other teachers. [Your daughter] is a very fortunate girl to have such concerned parents. What you have done for her at an early age will certainly benefit her in the future."

From the mother of a TPE student:

"I wanted to let you guys know that we had [student]'s conference on Wednesday night and they gave us excellent and exciting feedback about his growth since last year. He hit the fall fluency benchmark which was the first reading benchmark he has ever hit! He is also significantly higher in his comprehension. His accuracy rate was just shy of the benchmark. They told us many times that they agree with the rest of us that he is an amazingly hard worker, and they enjoy having him in class. They nearly brought me to tears many times in our short meeting.

I thought you might like to hear the feedback. We see such an improvement in his reading at home and we're very excited about his progress. Thanks to all of you and the wonderful tutors we work with each week. I'm so happy I learned about True Potential and that [student] is getting the help he needs."

From a college student who was struggling to pass the MCAT tests:

I have good news! I got my scores back today and I'm proud to announce that my score raised six points and my verbal reasoning section went from being in the 10th percentile to being at the 83rd percentile! I am so excited with my results. The hard work this summer/fall was truly amazing and I can't thank you enough for the help.

I also have an interview this week for a position in a laboratory at Mercy Hospital in downtown Des Moines. I hope all is well with you and the rest of the staff at True Potential Education. I will be sure to stay in touch with you and keep you updated on my journey to medical school.

From the mother of a student, in regards to a conversation with his classroom teacher at conferences:

"[Student] is now one of the best spellers in the class!" Please pass on huge pats on the back to those who tutor this guy!

From the mother of a TPE virtual student:

I also wanted to let you know that I talked to his teacher last night.  She has seen great improvement in [student] over the semester.  They placed him in Level 3 books this fall and he has now progressed to level 9-10.  They have also seen improvements in his FAST scores--he tested 47 or 147--average is 51 or 151 this winter.  I want to say he was at 26 or 126 this fall--sorry can't remember the exact numbers!  He has done okay with the MAP tests but he is still showing positive growth.  All of these were great things to hear!  Thanks to you guys for your help!

From the mother of student who was assessed at TPE:

"I just wanted to write you a quick note and say thank you for all that you do. I was truly impressed by your services and everything amazing that you do.

Three weeks after receiving your report, [student] stood before his third grade class and told them he is dyslexic. He explained to them what it meant, and how it affects kids. I truly believe that because of your testing and way of explaining things to him you have unlocked a confidence like no other in him. [Student] is truly flourishing in school now, and since his mind has been put to ease as to why things are a little harder in some areas, he is learning how to adapt.

I also want to thank you for the time and extensive lengths that you put into your reports. I know that without this I would have not had what I needed to get [student] the services that he needs at school. I started [student] out on a 504 plan, and have since moved him to an IEP. [Student]'s teacher didn't feel that she could provide all the accommodations that he needed on her own, so an IEP made the most sense. I just know that I am grateful for the school district that I live in because they took all of your recommendations and implemented all of them with no questions asked. I know that this seldom happens.

I want to become an advocate for dyslexia and help more families that are struggling to become aware and get the services that their children need and deserve. Thank you for all you do and please keep up the good work."
